Rapid Tag vs PadPrinting

The RapidTag Screen Printer is the obvious choice when compared to standard pad printing for tagless labels.  At double the speed and double the washability, the RapidTag also uses standard off-the-shelf screen printing inks, which are 10 to 20% cheaper than pad printing inks.

While you’re saving money on your inks, you will also be saving time; Screen printing inks require little mixing, while pad printing inks require very precise mixing and the addition of other chemicals.  It can become very time-consuming and wasteful.

The RapidTag will print opaque on both light and dark shirts, while pad printers can only achieve this on dark shirts.  Your prints will also be longer-lasting, as screen printed materials can withstand about 40 washes or more before fading, while pad print inks begin to fade with 15 to 20 washes.

Screens for your RapidTag will cost you only $2.00 to $3.00 for your RapidTag designs, while designing and making plates can cost $15.00 or more. The RapidTag also comes with 5 stations, including 2 flashes that speeds up your process dramatically, curing your ink almost immediately after it is printed.  And with it’s 36 square inch printable area, and 32 inch diameter compact size, you will get a larger printing work space while saving space in your shop or office.
